After a rigorous selection process that included METRO staff, art specialists and members of the community, the following projects have been selected to enhance the Uptown Line stations.

THE ARTISTS INCLUDE:

ALAN KRATHAUS AND FIONA MCGETTIGAN
Houston, Texas

Alan Krathaus received his MFA in sculpture from Cranbook Academy of Art and has been exhibited nationally, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art and the Tang Teaching Museum. Fiona McGettigan received her MFA in design from Cranbook Academy of Art and has exhibited work at DiverseWorks, the Museum of Fine Arts and Forum Gallery, Michigan. Krathaus and McGettigan are partners in CORE Design Studio.

ROBERTO CERVANTES
Houston, Texas

Roberto Cervantes was born in Puerto Rico and studied Fine Arts and Architectural Studies at Rice University. He has participated in many group art shows focusing on young, emerging artists and has taught art courses at Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
