ARTS IN TRANSIT

STATION PLATFORMS

The stations for the new lines are contemporary in architectural style, composed of steel beam columns supporting a glass canopy. There are three general station types along the lines: center platform, center platform split and side platform split. Each station will be enhanced with artwork from the Arts in Transit program that reflects the surrounding community.

Riders can board trains going in either direction from one central platform.

Split stations are placed end-to-end or across the rail from each other (shown), with trains traveling outside the stations.

SIDE PLATFORM SPLIT STATION DIAGRAM

side platform split

Platforms are located across and down the rail from each other, with trains traveling in the center of the road.
