New METRO light-rail lines are coming to downtown. So are occasional construction delays. We can help you avoid those.

On several weekends in 2013, rail construction will close Capitol and Rusk between Fannin and Travis, and Main between Prairie and Walker. Crews will be working from 7 p.m. Friday until 4:00 a..m Monday on the construction weekends.

During the coming months, there will also be significant construction activity along Capitol and Rusk through Downtown. The buttons to the right will take you to some suggested routes into and out of the Downtown area.

Businesses in the area will be open. As always, they appreciate your support.

Use these maps and links to plan your best route in and out of wherever you’re heading downtown. And keep in mind that construction dates can change, so check back often for updates and to plan your next trip in.
