Art has the power to unite, to educate, to communicate, to entertain and touch lives. METRO puts this power to great use through Arts in Transit, a celebration of the cultural character and talent in the vibrant communities along the new rail lines.

In a project that ultimately involved 22 artists, community residents and art experts, Arts in Transit transforms individual stations from bland, generic necessities into engaging showcases, each offering a proud and meaningful reflection of the diverse neighborhoods they serve.
